Scheduled Server Migration – 20 October 2026
Dear Customer,
We have detected signs of performance degradation on the primary disk of the server hosting your account. To prevent a possible outage, we have deployed a new server with the same hardware configuration. We will migrate all accounts on the current server to the new one.
Migration Window
- Server: premium-wp
- Date: 20 October 2026
- Start Time: 6:00 PM (GMT +5:30)
- Estimated Duration: 6–12 hours
We expect to complete the migration by the morning of 21 October.

What to expect
We are using cPanel’s live transfer method. As soon as your account is created on the new server, the account on the old server will be suspended automatically. Traffic will then be redirected to the new server, so downtime should be minimal.
Action required if you use third-party DNS (e.g. Cloudflare)
If your DNS is managed outside LankaHost, please update your A records to the new IP address above. The old server will be shut down 7 days after your account is migrated. After that, your website will become inaccessible if your DNS still points to the old IP.
We will update this notice as the migration progresses.
