Update : [ Thanks to the LK Domain Registry, all our LK Domain services are now operational]
Dear Customers,
As you may aware, there is an incident report in the LK Domain Registry on 6th of February 2021. Following services of LankaHost are impact until further notice,
- Registration of new domain names
- Changes to the name servers (You can modify name servers via client area, but it will not apply in the domains until the registry resume their operations)
- If your domain is already suspended due to non-payment, we are unable to re-activate the domains even you complete the payment.
We are working with LK Domain Registry to resume operations at the earliest.

Domain Registration System Issue on 6th February
An issue with the .LK Domain Registration System arose early in the morning of Saturday, 6th February, which affected a few domains registered in .LK. This issue was attended to expeditiously, and the matter was resolved by approx. 8.30 a.m.
The .LK DNS system is now functioning normally. However, some names may be cached in systems outside the registry, and may appear until the cache expires.
